JSNA December Workshop - Postponed

25 November 2019 10:33am

Unfortunately the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) workshop, that was scheduled for Wednesday, 4 December, 2019 at The Trinity Centre, Meole Brace, has been postponed.

All those who had confirmed attendance to the event have been notified and a new date for the workshop will be shared shortly.

The decision to postpone was taken by the Shropshire Care Closer to Home Programme Team due to pre-election guidance issued by NHS England.

During the six-week period running up to a General Election, specific restrictions are placed on the use of public resources and the communication activities of public bodies, civil servants and local government officials.

As these restrictions apply to the NHS, and the JSNA workshop falls within this six-week pre-election period, the Programme Team had no choice but to reschedule to a later date.

Details of the new workshop will be available as soon as possible and an email will be issued shortly to seek expressions of interest in attending this next event.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope to see a good turnout at the next event once details are confirmed.
