Training Day for Primary Care Practitioners: Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Diseases

Run by the Bone Research Society, this one-day training course aims to help GPs and other primary care practitioners to better manage patients with metabolic bone diseases.

Shropshire Breast Service - education evening

The Shropshire Breast Service would like to invite you to our free two hour education evening. Attendance counts towards CPD.

Areas covered will include; breast pain, gynaecomastia, family history, referral processes, the national breast screening programme, patient experience, medical trials, radiotherapy, consent in imaging, previous breast cancer, how we image and biopsy.

All staff - clinical and non-clinical - are welcome. Places are limited, so please book your place by Friday, 7 September, 2018. To book please send an  email to Shropshire.breastscreening@nhs.net. Please inform us of your name and title, profession, GP practice in which you work and email.

The MSK and Chronic Pain Update Course

Functional Disorders Day
Friday, 14 June, 2019, Shropshire Conference & Education Centre (SECC) Royal Shrewsbury Hospital SY3 8XQ (SECC)

This one-day conference will offer insights into the recognition, diagnosis and management of these common conditions that affect a significant proportion of patients seen in both primary and secondary care. Local, regional, and national speakers will discuss relevant aspects of functional illness and share experience on improving the management of patients. An emphasis on practical tips will complement personal experience and evidence- based practice. This conference will be appropriate for all therapists, all clinicians of any grade in primary and secondary care, postgraduate and undergraduate trainees.
