Local people are being encouraged to find out more about the Future Fit consultation by attending one of a series of upcoming public events. New public events were recently announced to give local people further opportunities to find out more about proposals to transform local hospital services.

More public events planned for Future Fit consultation

Three new public events have been announced as part of the Future Fit consultation to give local people further opportunities to find out more about proposals to transform local hospital services. The new events were announced as the Future Fit Programme Board agreed to extend the consultation by one week until midnight on Tuesday 11 September 2018. The additional pop-in Q&A sessions have been organised in Bishop’s Castle (8 August), Woodside in Telford (29 August) and Welshpool (30 August). Local people are invited to drop in at any time between 4pm and 7pm. The sessions are in addition to two additional public exhibition events announced earlier this month, which will take place in Whitchurch and Newport.

Doctors and nurses on hand to answer your Future Fit questions at public exhibition event. Local people are being encouraged to find out more about the Future Fit consultation at a public exhibition event in Market Drayton this week. The drop-in event will run from 3.30pm to 7.30pm and is open to everyone. NHS doctors, nurses and other healthcare staff will be on hand to answer questions to give everyone the chance to find out more about the proposed changes to services at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and The Princess Royal Hospital.

Local people are being encouraged to find out more about proposals to transform local hospital services as two additional public exhibition events are announced as part of the Future Fit consultation. The new public exhibition events have been organised to take place on Thursday, 9 August, in Newport and on Tuesday, 21 August in Whitchurch following feedback from local people.
